Get Outdoors for freedom is a series of outdoor events, local and non local. We are inviting you to a Call of Action in the crisis of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation by participating, raising awareness and fundraising for the cause.
This is a global issue that is happening in our own communities. It is our intention to provide solutions for you and me to be involved and work TOGETHER to end human trafficking!

Inaugural Light the Darkness 5K
Proceeds benefit the prevention, identification, rehabilitation and support of survivors of those who have been sexually exploited.
We encourage individual fundraising for this event to help bring awareness to the cause. This is the official launch of our Get Outdoors for Freedom Spring & Summer Series. If you love the outdoors and want to contribute to the solution in ending human trafficking, you can walk, run, paddle or hike....All for the Freedom of others! Guest speaker Laura Esquivel of Atlas Free will be attending.
Event Details:
This is an evening out and back BEACH race that will start on the beach in front of the Hilton Cocoa Beach Ocean Front.
Head Lamps, Neon & lighted apparel and accessories are encouraged! PRIZE for best Glow Lights!
Join us for the Official Kick Off After Party for Get Outdoors for Freedom at Hilton's Longboards Tiki Beach Grille starting at 6 pm!

Our 2nd Get Outdoors for Freedom event is here!
Welcome to our inaugural endurance Power Paddle event. The 2nd of 3 events of our Get Outdoors for Freedom Spring & Summer Series will be Feburary 24, 2024 with a start time of 8:00 am, registration and rental pick ups will begin at 7:00 am.
This is not a race, but a community event to gather outdoor enthusiasts TOGETHER to help bring awareness and fundraise together to end the sexual exploitation of others.
The Power Paddle will consist of 3 separate legs, each approximately 5 miles. Registrations includes any of the following combinations. Participants can paddle 1, 2 or all 3 legs for the full 15 miles. These legs can be accomplished solo or as a relay team. Start and return of each leg will be an out and back from Paddling Paradise. Seaside Stride Beach Trek
On Final event in our Get Outdoors for Freedom series will be on April 6, 2024 with an 8 am start. A 10 or 20 mile out and back beach trek starting and returning from Fish Lips Bar & Grille at Port Canaveral.
This is not a race, but a community event to gather outdoor enthusiasts TOGETHER to help bring awareness and fundraise together to end the sexual exploitation of others.
This is a distance trek, which is meant to be challenging and will be an all day event with a celebration at the end at Fish Lips Waterfront Grill. The course and additional information is in the sign up link below.
